IT Systems Administrator I

Looking for an opportunity to be in an integral support role in IT?

The systems administrator will help to maintain and support the IT infrastructure in support of office staff and providers in a variety of areas that includes desktops, physical servers, virtual environments, cloud management and general help desk duties. Compensation commensurate with experience. Starting salary is in the low 60s.


  • Administers both Windows Server/Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Manages and monitors all installed systems and server infrastructure.
  • Installs, configures, tests, and maintains operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Maintains documentation including design, implementation, and process documents.
  • Manages and maintains backups.
  • Supports disaster recovery strategy.
  • Collaborates with others on projects, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Suggests future productivity tools as well as offers enhancements for existing productivity tools.


  • Associate degree or Microsoft certification. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  • 2+ years of professional work experience in systems administration.
  • Experience administering Windows 2016, Windows 2019 and beyond, and Office 365.
  • Must have a working knowledge of AD domains, AD group policies and networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, etc).
  • Knowledge of core technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP) in a controlled service provider network.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for troubleshooting, research, and problem resolution.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must have initiative to learn new technologies, complete projects timely, and help advance the organization.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer support skills.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds.


  • Experience working with firewalls.
  • Experience administering virtual environment (Hyper-V, VMWare, Xenserver, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
