Encourage Congress to protect patients from surprise bills

Kelly Tieves DO

Dr. Tieves practices Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and has been with AAKC since 2006. In addition to being part of our Executive Board, she is the Program Director for the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Dr. Tieves attended medical school at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency/chief residency at Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. She was then a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellow at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin/Medical College of Wisconsin. Special interests include Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care, Neurocritical Care, and leading an annual medical mission trip to Merotte, Haiti. Dr. Tieves is a member of the American Medical Association, Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Society,  Society of Critical Care Medicine and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
