Medical Front Desk

We are looking for a high-energy, team-oriented, individual to be the primary point of contact for our corporate office. This position is a unique hybrid of being a receptionist while also giving assistance to our billing department. They will be working closely with all our departments across AAKC.

Requirements

  • Ensures friendly, customer relations, serving as the ‘face’ and initial contact for the company. 
  • Helps manage room scheduling for meetings and activities.
  • Provides accurate and timely daily support to the Revenue Cycle department. 
  • Ensures optimal performance of building services. 
  • Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as needed/assigned. 

Education

  • High school diploma. Some college courses in medical terminology and/or insurance billing, a plus.

Experience

  • One year’s experience in general clerical and/or customer service role. 
  • One year experience navigating various websites and system portals.
    • Medical office experience, a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good aptitude and confidence in using various websites and system portals.
  • Knowledge and application of navigating the Internet is essential.

    • Detail-oriented, a self-starter and being able to shift priorities as demands dictate.

  • Demonstrated or proven ability to set priorities and attain deadlines.
    • While also balancing multiple projects and performing assignments accurately.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign, Adobe Pro and Survey monkey.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA.
  • Must be dependable and a team player (can-do, will-do attitude).
