Anesthesia Associates of Kansas City (AAKC) has been around since the mid-1960s. Our organization has grown and evolved over the years to become the largest anesthesiology practice in the greater Kansas City region.

1960s
Anesthesia Associates of Kansas City (AAKC) was started.
1970s
AAKC cultivated a reputation for providing quality patient care.
1980s
AAKC began providing pediatric anesthesiology services at Children’s Mercy Hospital and began offering pain management specialists on a full-time basis.
1990s
AAKC merged with Anesthesiology Services, Inc.
2000s
The hospitals covered by AAKC continued growing organically, and AAKC opened their first two KC Pain Centers.
2010s
AAKC continued expanding their services including through a new venture called Mobile Anesthesia Care in dental offices.
