A Special Announcement

Anesthesia Associates of Kansas City wishes to recognize the departing members of its pediatric anesthesia and pediatric critical care teams effective on February 1st, 2021. Children’s Mercy Hospital decided to change their staffing model of contracting with AAKC for these services and reached an agreement allowing CMH to hire the pediatric specialists.

AAKC has been an integral part of the growth and expansion of CMH during the past 40 years. Under the incredible leadership and clinical expertise of the anesthesia and critical care providers, AAKC has enhanced the reputation of the clinical care and services provided throughout CMH and its satellite locations.

This could not have occurred without each and every one of the top-notch pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatric intensivists, certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants supporting the effort every single day with enthusiasm, commitment and so much love for children.

Each will be sorely missed from the ranks of AAKC. They are not only stellar clinicians; they are stellar people. We are overwhelmingly proud that the teams AAKC built will continue providing top-notch leadership at the hospital and providing excellent patient care to children in this region.
